About Kim Brown
I was born and spent my childhood in Glendive. Eastern Montana has a special beauty and I was blessed to have grown up in that wonderful area in the fifties and sixties. My family moved to Billings where I attended Central High School and met Roy Brown! My parents recognized, even then, that he was intelligent, hardworking, honest, and unique. My father thought even then that Roy should some day run for Governor.
After I graduated from MSU-Bozeman with a degree in Education, Roy and I married and set off on a world-wide adventure. His work in energy development took us to many fascinating places. We lived in Findlay, Ohio; Cork, Ireland; London; Cairo; and Denver. This was an awesome opportunity to see and experience the world for a girl from Glendive!
Yet, Montana was where our hearts remained, so we joyfully returned to the Big Sky Country to raise our three children. While my roles of a wife and mother have been my focus throughout our 31 years of marriage, I have also been an active volunteer for our church, schools, community and the Republican Party.
Now we are living out my father's suggestion and Roy is running for Governor of our great state! It is an honor and a privilege to have shared my life with Roy. He is a proven leader and a man of great integrity. I know that he will become one of Montana's greatest governors.
